Junior Sales Executive – Middle East /GCC – London

We are looking for an enthusiastic salesperson to join our dynamic team based at our London HQ. The role will focus on client services, maintaining and growing existing accounts as well as identifying new prospects to support the growth of the Middle East region.

We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated, competent and confident team member with a strong commercial background and a successful track record of engaging with clients, finding solutions, and upselling them with new VV products and services. Ideally work experience based in the Middle East for at least 2 years or more would be highly beneficial. Ability to work alongside Head of Middle East, providing full support, generating new strategic ideas, and giving valuable knowledge to grow the markets.

To apply you will need to be confident in calling existing clients & converting generated leads, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be tenacious and resourceful in reaching the relevant contacts and decision makers within the company. Previous experience in account management is essential.

The role requires a positive and resilient approach and a good understanding of the Middle Eastern mentality and mindset and how business is conducted in this region. VesselsValue offers the opportunity for progression within this dynamic and growing team. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

Increasing VesselsValue client base through lead conversion, selling VesselsValue product and services, offering current and new data sets to provide custom solutions for existing and prospective clients. Working with Management as well as Development and Research teams to co-ordinate and deliver effective campaigns.

Key skills required

  • Driven & motivated with the ability to demonstrate high levels of energy and activity.
  • Understanding the Middle East & GCC business mindset & mentality
  • Ability to think strategically and being creative on how to grow this territory
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines & tasks set
  • Experienced in Account Management.
  • Experience and understanding of the maritime sector in the Middle East & GCC.
  • Min 2 years’ previous experience of residing & working in the Middle East would be beneficial
